Speaking

Faithful Leadership for Restless People

I speak to churches, leaders, and organizations who care deeply about faithfulness, responsibility, and impact—and who are learning how to carry that weight wisely.

My teaching sits at the intersection of ambition and rest: honoring the call to lead, build, and serve, while rooting that work in grace, Sabbath, and spiritual formation.

This is not about doing less. It’s about living and leading from a well-ordered life.

Speaking Topics

While every gathering is unique, my teaching often explores topics such as:

Rest For The Restless
Understanding the wonder and danger of ambition—and how rest restores clarity and joy.

Sabbath as Gift, Not Obligation
Recovering a biblical vision of Sabbath that sustains calling rather than limits it.

Leadership Without Burnout
Carrying responsibility faithfully without being consumed by it.

Every Child Needs a Church
The formative power of gospel-shaped community to raise children and people of courage in a broken world.

The Power of the Twelve Steps
I share my story of recovery to everyone who will listen.

The Gospel, Recovery, and Vulnerability
How the call of God brings us across the threshold of vulnerability to bring restoration to the vulnerable.

Who I speak to:

I speak with:

  • Local churches and church plants

  • Recovery Groups

  • Pastors and ministry leaders

  • Leadership teams and elders

  • Professional and non-profit gathering of leaders

  • Retreats, conferences, and renewal gatherings

  • Faith-based organizations

Whether the context is a Sunday sermon or a small leadership retreat, my aim is the same: clarity, courage, and hope rooted in the gospel.

About the Speaker

I serve as the Lead Pastor of 938 Church and have spent years working with church planters, leaders, and teams navigating growth, pressure, and transition.

Alongside pastoral ministry, I am the author of Rest for the Restless and work as a leadership coach and entrepreneur. My teaching draws from Scripture, theology, lived experience, and the realities leaders actually face.
